Lufthansa Cargo (DLH/LH) has launched a new emergency freight forwarding service, td.Zoom. The service will transport cargo from Shanghai, China, to Zurich, Switzerland, via Frankfurt, Germany, in 23 hours, instead of the 35-45 hours it would have taken previously. Special handling processes at the company's hubs in Frankfurt, Munich, and Vienna allow for smooth transfers when unloading from aircraft, transferring from warehouse to aircraft, and loading onto trucks to ensure the fastest possible transit times. The service has no weight or size restrictions, and dedicated 24/7 customer service monitors and manages all shipments to provide the best possible transportation service.
