According to a new review by the Chaddick Institute at DePaul University, UPS’s hub at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) has overtaken FedEx’s long-standing superhub at Memphis International Airport (MEM) to become the world’s largest express air cargo hub. The study found that United Parcel Service now operates more daily flights and offers greater tonnage and volume capacity than FedEx. The shift reflects changing cargo demand, reduced daytime flying at Memphis, and major investment by UPS in its Louisville Worldport facility.
