Air France KLM Martinair Cargo (AFKLMP) and CMA CGM Air Cargo have launched a capacity partnership following an announcement made in May 2022. The collaboration involves jointly operating the freighter aircraft capacity of both airlines. Initially, this includes CMA CGM's six freighter aircraft and AFKLMP's six freighters, along with Air France-KLM's belly aircraft capacity of over 160 long-haul planes. The partnership aims to offer greater capacity, an expanded network of destinations, a mix of scheduled and charter flights, improved transit times, and tailored connections. It also involves collaboration on digital solutions and reducing emissions. CMA CGM has acquired a 9% stake in the Air France KLM Group.
