Top 5 Japan Freight Forwarders in September 2026

The international air cargo forwarding ranking for Japan in September 2026 has been disclosed. Nippon Express (NX) retained the top position with 21,428 tons, up 29.5% compared to the same month last year. Kintetsu World Express (KWE) ranked second with 13,870 tons, up 3.7%, followed by Yusen Logistics in third with 10,808 tons, up 16.0%. Nishi-Nippon Railroad (NNR) placed fourth with 4,685 tons, up 16.1%, while Hankyu Hanshin Express came fifth with 3,962 tons, up 33.0%. All five major forwarders recorded year-on-year growth, with particularly strong increases at Hankyu Hanshin Express and Nippon Express. The ranking of the top five companies remained unchanged.
