Top 5 Japan Freight Forwarders in August 2026

The international air cargo forwarding ranking for Japan in August 2026 has been disclosed. Nippon Express (NX) retained the top position with 19,579 tons, up 28.0% compared to the same month last year. Kintetsu World Express (KWE) ranked second with 11,808 tons, up 3.6%, followed by Yusen Logistics in third with 9,046 tons, up 10.9%. Nishi-Nippon Railroad (NNR) placed fourth with 4,330 tons, up 19.6%, while Hankyu Hanshin Express came fifth with 3,618 tons, up 30.1%.

All five major forwarders recorded year-on-year growth, with particularly strong increases at Nippon Express and Hankyu Hanshin Express. The ranking of the top five companies remained unchanged.
