Partnerships Drive SAF Adoption in Air Cargo

Stakeholder collaboration is key to accelerating sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) adoption in air cargo, industry leaders emphasized at IATA's 2025 World Cargo Symposium. Air France KLM Martinair Cargo, aiming for 10% SAF use by 2030, has achieved 1.25%—triple the industry average—thanks to partnerships with DG Fuels, Neste, and TotalEnergies. Finnair Cargo and Kintetsu World Express echoed the importance of collaboration across the value chain to increase SAF awareness, transparency, and usage.
