NIPPON EXPRESS Holdings announced the launch of a new international maritime transport service, "Busan Hub × Japan Regional Ports," connecting Busan Port in Korea and regional ports in Japan. The service optimizes inventory storage in Busan, minimizing truck transport distances within Japan for imported goods. Leveraging Busan's strategic location with over 150 global container routes, the initiative aims to reduce domestic truck transport, ensure stable transport means, cut costs, and contribute to CO2 emission reduction by 2024. Additionally, NIPPON EXPRESS has initiated the "Qingdao Hub × Japan Regional Ports" service for Chinese imports, utilizing a hub warehouse in Qingdao.
