Hapag-Lloyd acquires shares in Spinelli, Italy

Hapag-Lloyd (Germany) will acquire a 49% stake in Italian logistics giant Spinelli Group. The family of owners of Spinelli will continue to hold a 51% majority stake. The amount of the acquisition is undisclosed. The Spinelli Group is a leading logistics company operating in Italy since 1963, operating a wide range of logistics services including port terminals, multimodal transportation, container depots, repairs, and warehousing.
