The tightening of quarantine control at Shanghai Pudong Airport in China is becoming more serious, as the new cases of the new coronavirus were confirmed on August 20-21, and air cargo handling functions were virtually suspended over the weekend. On the 23rd, some of the cargo handling shed operations seemed to have resumed. Capacity is under severe pressure. DHL Express is limiting shipments from Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Anhui provinces to one shipment per customer per day up to 100 kg until August 27. The supply of cargo flights may be halved next week as well.
