The large-scale port workers' strike that started on September 1 at over 30 ports along the U.S. East Coast and Gulf Coast has ended. Concerns over delays and cost increases from this massive strike, the largest in about half a century, have eased following a tentative wage agreement. The deal includes a wage increase of over 60% over the next six years. While negotiations on unresolved issues will continue, the disruption to logistics is reportedly coming to an end.
