Maersk Enters into Strategic Partnership with Investment Development Authority of Malaysia

A.P. Moller Maersk announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA). The company and MIDA will work together to promote "high-tech, high-impact investments" in the automotive, electrical, electronics, mechanical equipment, medical equipment, aerospace, renewable energy, and consumer technology sectors. The company has been operating in Malaysia since 1975 and currently employs more than 300 staff in 12 locations, operating a combined warehouse space of 68,000 square meters. The company states that more locations and warehouse capacity will be added in the near future.
