Japan Freight Railway (JR Freight) and Global Multimodal Logistics (GML) have signed an MOU to study intermodal transportation of dangerous goods, including liquefied natural gas (LNG). JR Freight's expertise in rail transport of hazardous materials has been recognized by PTT, and they will collaborate with GML to explore commercialization possibilities. Since 2019, JR Freight and PTT have been working with the Thai government to establish regulations for rail transport of dangerous goods. This partnership aims to enhance the efficiency and safety of transporting hazardous materials, contributing to sustainable practices in logistics and promoting environmental protection.
