Hitachi Solutions, Ltd. to Support Document Troubleshooting for Proof of Origin

On January 11, Hitachi Solutions, Ltd. will begin selling "Certificate of Origin Management Service Premium Version," a solution that includes insurance to support the handling of problems with incomplete documentation in certificate of origin issuance operations. This was achieved through joint development with Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co. In addition to the support for the establishment of a system for trade management operations and the formulation of corporate rules that has been provided in the past, the premium version will include new insurance to compensate for various expenses incurred so that the company can respond quickly in cooperation with lawyers, customs brokers, and other specialists when problems occur. Hitachi Solutions intends to use this joint development with Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance as an opportunity to promote initiatives to support the use of free trade agreements and security trade, and to contribute to the reduction of risks in corporate global supply chains.
