China's infection control measures may affect supply chain

There is growing concern that China's intense infection control measures in the corona disaster will affect the supply chain. In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the government has been conducting regular inspections of workers at ports and airports, and if anyone is found to be positive, the surrounding area is thoroughly inspected and quarantined. At the Port of Ningbo, following the discovery of a small number of infected people in the salt fields, the container terminal was immediately closed. At the Port of Ningbo, dozens of ships are waiting at the terminal to load cargo for the European and American markets ahead of the year-end shopping season, and delays of up to two weeks are reported to be occurring.
