All Nippon Airways (ANA/NH) has launched the SAF Flight Initiative, a program to reduce CO2 emissions from air transportation by using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). To start with, Nippon Express, Kintetsu Express, and Yusen Logistics became the first Japanese airline to conduct a cargo flight using SAF in September. "We will continue to promote the decarbonization of air transportation and the expansion of the use of SAF in cooperation with leading companies working to reduce CO2 emissions in the value chain.
