TradeWalz announced that it has implemented a tri-nation trading function in its trade information coordination platform, TradeWalz. While the export side (buying information) and import side (selling information) manage their commercial distribution information separately, logistics information can be shared among the three parties. The company was launched in 2020 as an "all-Japan" industry-government-academia startup, as trade procedures are still paper-based, which is a factor that hinders remote work. Its platform enables the exchange of trade data across industries and national borders with "more authenticity than paper" because it is difficult to falsify data. The newly implemented tri-nation trade function enables the three parties to share logistics information while managing commercial distribution information separately.
