The September 2022 international airfreight forwarder rankings reveal that Nippon Express was No. 1 with 21,209 MT (-5.3% y/y), Kintetsu Express No. 2 with 14,330 MT (-2.1%), Yusen Logistics No. 3 with 10,348 MT (-18.0%), Hankyu Hanshin Express No. 4 with 5,497 MT (-0.2%), and Nishinippon Railways International Logistics Division (Tetsu) No. 5 with 4,102 MT (-0.2%). Hanshin Express, at 5,497t (-0.2%), and Nishitetsu (Nishinippon Railways International Logistics Division), at 4,102t (-24.3%). Each company posted a y-o-y decline due to a reactionary drop from the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
