Nippon Express launches ultra-low-temperature pharmaceutical logistics service

Nippon Express has launched a logistics service for pharmaceutical-related industries that handles ultra-low temperatures ranging from -20 to -85 degrees Celsius. As a pharmaceutical logistics platform, the company provides strict temperature control services in two temperature zones: refrigerated from 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and constant temperature from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. The company is now renewing its pharmaceutical logistics platform by establishing a new system that can handle ultra-low temperature zones as well. In addition to enabling storage and transportation of pharmaceuticals at ultra-low temperatures during the research and development stage and in the drug formulation process, the new system will lead to the provision of logistics services for temperature control in a wide range of areas, including pharmaceutical-related raw materials, intermediates, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and finished products, thereby developing a more precise pharmaceutical logistics business.
